April Fool's Day brings a lot of opportunities for brands. We teamed up with Smithfield's sponsored NASCAR driver Aric Almirola to get people excited for the new fad product, Bacon Crisps cereal.
Falling for it pays.
We didn't just leave people hanging with a "gotcha," we followed up
by sending them a small box of "Bacon Crisps" containing coupons
for real bacon.
